Fire Hydrant CerTifier
You will be commissioning and certifying fire hydrant systems in Brisbane. This will help grow the business in Brisbane while the owner expands interstate.
Fire hydrant certification is required so the fire brigade can safely extinguish fires. Your job will be to use a pump truck, to boost hydrant systems and check hydrant flows and pressures. Certification also involves a hydrostatic pressure test and on-site checks to certify that the building is safe to occupy. We will provide training and pay for the required qualifications.
You will also be testing reticulation main flows and pressures for existing clients. This gives hydraulic consultants the information they need to design hydrant systems.
With an understanding of the Australian Standards you could be the most knowledgeable hydrant certifier in Brisbane. We will build a web-based application to help smooth out the certification process.
The role is approximately 32 hours per week. We are happy to work around any other commitments you might have. The work is in the field and from a home office or co-working space in the city.
HTC has been in operation since 2015 and you will be joining as the fourth employee. There is the potential to become a part owner if the business continues to grow.
