Hydraulic Testing and Certification
Water main flow and pressure data enables hydraulic designers to design reliable fire solutions and enables water utilities maintain their hydrant assets.
Commissioning hydrant systems verifies that the hydrant design and installation has been in accordance with legal and industry standards. Testing water utility
We get the right test done the first time with minimal hassle and rare variations. We average a turnaround time of less than 4 working days for water main flow data and 6 day commissioning data. Our technicians are RPEQ qualified and have a comprehensive understanding of hydrant standards and fluid dynamics.
Partnering with HTC gives you the information to design, and commission world class hydrant solutions.
Keith Lees has been conducting flow and pressure testing as Hydraulic Testing and Certification since 2006. Dan purchased the business in 2015 with the aim to maintain Keith’s reputation in the industry. Since 2015 we have built a small but dedicated team who use the most up to date technology and equipment to offer a consistent and high quality service.
HTC believes in the small but valuable role we play supporting our clients in all things relating to fire hydrants and reticulation mains.
MEET THE TEAM
Commissioning reports are issued under Section 42C(1) of the QBCC Act which states that work can be conducted under the Professional Engineers Act. Work is signed off by Dan who is qualified to Inspect,Test and Certify fire hydrant systems under the RPEQ qualification. Working with the Shantipara Association for Education, HTC donates a small percentage of our profits to children in the remote town of Satkhira, Chittagong District in Bangladesh. Donations have contributed to books, bags and stationary to help increase the level of education in this regional location. The intent is to support people that value resources that we in Australia, take for granted.
The Shantipara Association for Education was established in 2009 and their first target was for "no child to miss Primary School (grade 1 to 5)”. That goal has now been achieved and 100% of the children in the area are completing Primary School. More exciting is that four students have graduated from college and two have returned to help teach the students.
