Fire hydrant commissioning is proof that the hydrant has been designed and installed as intended. Commissioning tests are recorded on a Form 71 which documents that the hydrant system met the flow and pressure requirements of AS2419. We also inspect the system to identify and resolve potential non-conformance’s prior to the QFES inspection.

We work around your schedule to get the testing done when you need. Our office and field staff ensure your get the results and Form 71 before the QFES inspection. Commissioning reports are consistent with the data required for the Block Plan displayed in an individual table.

Hydrostatic Pressure Testing

HTC is able to provide hydrostatic testing for commissioning of fire hydrant systems on fire hydrant systems.


Ultrasonic Flow Meter - Flow Measurement

Unobtrusive flow measurements can be made using HTC’s ultrasonic flow meters. Ideal for measuring tank infill rates, leak detection and flow monitoring.

HTC operates throughout Metropolitan and Regional Queensland and northern NSW. Normal operations occur in and around the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and the Gold coast, but we have conducted testing in Casino, Toowoomba, Chinchilla, Emerald, Thursday Island and many many places in between. HTC are approved to conduct tests with numerous water providers across Queensland.
