Water Main Flow & Pressure Testing
Measuring the flow and pressure available from the water main servicing your clients property gives you accurate and data that allows you to confidently size hydrant mains and allow for fire pumps or tanks early in the design.
HTC Group will endeavour to keep lead times to 5 days or less and average a 4 day turnaround. We send you the scope prior to testing so you know what your getting. If the main doesn’t provide your required flow we flow from additional hydrants while on-site.
Water Main Investigations
Identifying restrictions from closed reticulation main valves, corroded fittings, pipes and hydrants can prevent the unnecessary installation of fire water tanks. HTC Group can measure the pressure loss at every available point in the main or on-site system to identify areas of high friction loss or rule out blockages.
Pressure Logging
Monitoring the static pressure using pressure loggers gives you evidence of the minimum and maximum pressures affecting your equipment over any time period. HTC Group can also monitor the in-line flow to test over a range of operations.

Health and Safety
HTC have a Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHSE) Policy that complies with Work Covers Work Health and Safety Management Plan requirements. We have zero recordable OHSE incidents or claims. We hold $20M PL and $5M PI insurance.
Service Area
Brisbane
Metropolitan and Regional Queensland and northern NSW. We travel between the Sunshine Coast and Gold coast each week but we will go to Casino, Toowoomba, Gladstone, Emerald, Thursday Island and anywhere in between. HTC Group are approved to conduct tests with numerous water providers across Queensland.
Melbourne
As of January 2019 HTC offers flow and pressure testing in Melbourne and its surrounds.
